HR Shared Services Coordinator

Our client is a global multi-billion dollar Consumer Packaged Goods company, based in Broomfield, CO.  They are seeking a contract HR Shared Services Coordinator to work in their Broomfield, CO office.  Estimated length of assignment is 1-2 months to cover a leave of absence.


Position Description:

Under HR management supervision, this role provides administrative support to the corporate human resources functions in support of assigned functional pillar in the areas of onboarding, offboarding, data changes, people moves, and general HR or employee questions.



  • Process employment changes including data gathering, completion of applicable documents, securing approval & submission in HR systems
  • Maintain employee electronic files and records to ensure legal compliance
  • Coordinate and deliver required communications to employees, managers, and HR to support respective pillar
  • Assists with or leads a variety of projects such as: HR data audits, trainings and presentations, new policy and program development and implementation, etc.
  • Completes I-9 Forms, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files with full compliance. Serve as first point of contact for systems, process & general questions. Answer all questions within established timelines while providing updates or escalating to the appropriate parties in a timely manner
  • Manage Employment Verification requests (process or route to 3rd party vendor)
  • Continuously identify areas for enhancement and champion solutions with key stakeholders e.g. data inconsistencies, process improvements, anomalies, invalid entries, communication/cultural barriers
  • Interact with a number of internal and external partners such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Global Mobility etc.
  • Partners with HR Compliance team to assesses compliance with new regulations, and coordinates with Legal team and HR community to implement compliance initiatives
  • Coordinates with various business units and Legal team on changes or additions to HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with coverage of other pillars and support team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience (Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of Human Resource experience preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (HCM systems such as Ceridian Dayforce is a plus)
  • Some travel may be required
