Customer Service Representative – Miami, FL

Our client is a premier provider of targeted specialized insurance products in North America and selected other markets.  They are looking for multiple Customer Service Representatives to work in their Miami, FL office.  This is contract-to-perm opportunity based on attendance and performance, among other things.  This is a work from home position but must be local to office site as you must pick up your equipment on the first day and you will be returning to work once the office re-opens.  This office is open 24/7.

The role of a Customer Care Professional is a key position because you are the voice of our organization and clients. You are highly valued as our customer’s primary point of contact.  Providing excellent customer service is top priority for everyone!

Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact, you will:

  • Receive in-bound calls from customers who want to open a claim
  • Listen, solve problems, answer questions and work with them to find a resolution
  • Use your expertise to proactively make recommendations that will help customers avoid future issues

Hiring for both Day Shift & Night Shift:

  • Day Shift ranges between the hours of 7am – 10pm EST
  • Night Shifts range between the hours of 9pm – 8am EST
  • Hours of operation are 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year including holidays
  • This job is 40 hours a week and shifts are usually (not always) 5 consecutive days on with 2 consecutive dates off for 8 hour shifts but shifts can change to meet business needs, so it is important that you have open overall availability
  • We do pay shift differentials for night and weekend schedules worked

When you start, we train you:

  • It is a combination of virtual “classroom” & “on the job” training that is typically 6 weeks long, but duration can vary
  • Classroom training hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm EST with a lunch break
  • Upon completion of classroom training, you will receive your regular shift & start working those hours
  • While working remotely, you are required to have internet services with a minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps on the download side and a minimum of 3 Mbps on the upload side. You can test your internet speed at www.speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider.
