Associate Brand Manager - Remote

Our client is a global multi-billion-dollar Consumer Packaged Goods company, based in Westchester County, New York.  They are seeking a Brand Manager to work on one of their private label brands.  This is a 100% remote role, but whomever is hired must be able to work EST hours.  The length of the assignment is expected to last about 5 – 6 months with the possibility of being extended.

Job Description:

Seeking a strategic marketer and leader, who has the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and teams, who has the passion to build a brand with a positive impact on the world, who has the persistence to bring new ideas to reality and combines all of this with solid business acumen and P&L management.  Looking for someone who can hit the ground running on a product innovation that our client wants to bring into market within the next 3 months. This person will focus on landing the packaging process as well as working closely with our sales team.  This role will report to the Director of the private label brand but focused exclusively on one of the brand’s specific labels.

This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate & inspire a cross functional team, agency partners and to create a high performing team. You are truly an entrepreneur within a larger team with the ability to “just do” while ensuring you are making strong business decisions along the way.  You will be joining a passionate team of marketeers known for a work-hard, play-hard mentality and a collaborative, "can-do" spirit that isn't afraid to try new things.

Objectives of the role:

  • Leading packaging design development on our business’ largest launch
  • Co-leading the development and execution of national marketing programs
  • Build and execute meaningful and robust Shopper and Consumer Promotion Marketing programs with Sales team to activate key campaigns instore & online.
  • Acting as the voice of the business by supporting with analytics (weekly recaps and monthly business review) and ensuring a laser-like focus on results and opportunities to improve them

Targeted Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, MBA strongly preferred
  • 4+ years Brand/Product/Innovation and P&L management experience
  • Think like a business owner someone who can take initiative and get things done while having fun in an entrepreneurial environment
  • A passion for building brands and proven track-record of breakthrough consumer advertising and activation
  • Action-oriented with the ability to think and react quickly to changing circumstances
  • Strong project management skills to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams to accomplish brand goals, objectives, and key initiatives
  • Experience working with syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen) to make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consumer research and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
