Our client is a premier provider of targeted specialized insurance products in North America and selected other markets.  They are looking for a contract HR Services Associate to work in for Miami, FL office remotely.  This is a temporary only 6 week assignment.

 

Job Description:

The HR Services Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of company’s HR processes and for providing inquiry support (phone, email, and chat/IM) to managers and employees regarding HR policies, plans and processes.

 

Job Details:

  • Send emails on First day of employment to ensure compliance with Section I of the I-9
  • Send emails to ensure Section 2 is completed by third day of employment
  • Run reports from Workday
  • Run Reports from Lawlogix
  • Use Excel
  • Verify Section 2 has been completed and not signed by the Employee
  • Upload documents for E-verify as needed
  • Email and confirm if documents were verified virtually or in person
  • If virtually verified temp would need to document in Lawlogix and Neocase
  • Approve and Complete the I-9
    • If needed submit to E-verify depending on the State

 

Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • HR I-9 Process Administration and Inquiry Support
  • Provides administrative support to accurately complete company’s I-9 processes
  • Activities include following all defined process steps, validation and reconciliation of data, and ensuring all necessary data entry and system updates are completed across the full
  • Effectively uses case management and knowledgebase tools to resolve, log, track and escalate employee and manager inquiries
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Works closely with employees, managers, HR, Payroll and other business teams as needed to ensure processes are completed timely and accurately
  • Completes and maintains currency on all required training on HR policies, programs, processes and procedures
  • Maintains established service levels for handling I-9 calls, emails, and transactions
  • Achieves and maintains defined proficiency levels for I-9 HR processes within defined training plan guidelines meeting experience level expectations, becoming fully proficient within 90 days

 

Basic Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience working in an HR environment with direct exposure to employee support and administering HR I-9 processes

 

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or commensurate experience)
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills
  • Collaborates well with others
  • Possesses strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must be able to adjust to meet differing inquiry communication styles and needs
  • Able to work independently
  • Detail oriented with intermediate MS Office skills
